Well I had the distributor replaced, then I put on a new valve cover gasket, intake manifold gasket, and now its at the shop getting the tranny serviced, and new brakes all the way around. When I get it back I'm putting in new shocks and struts and some old school black wheels with white letter BF Goodrich T/A's, pics coming soon, and then I'm lowering the car with some new springs but not much only like an inch and a half so it corners better. Then I'm going to do some more body work so I can get it ready for paint. I still need to get a daily driver but I can't afford it right now so I'm just driving my 86 wich I love. So I thought I would update, I'm still working on it just slow progress a little at a time but its coming along nicely after a little more work I will take some more pics to show the progress. Well thats all for now I'm going to try to go get some sleep more updates soon.

The pics of the car so far are up and it may seem like almost nothing has changed, but the tranny is fixed the interior is coming together, the black part of the grill has been repainted, I pounded most of the dent on the driverside fender out. But it still has a long way to go I am trying to find a good dailey driver that I can use so I can really get crazy with the resto, I don't want to take the Corolla cause with the engine I have in there and the way its set up it eats gas, so I was thinking about another Grand Am maby like a 4-door in the same body style as the one I have maby with a 5-speed, I don't know but I absoulty love these cars. So what does everyone think?

Wow its been a while, well I have yellow highbeams now, I fixed the tranny and I am working on getting an exhaust system made for it. So its coming along nicely, I repainted the headlight bezzels, and repainted the black part of the grill. I am now trying to get a nice driver seat for it now or just have the other one redone, I also restored and repainted the factory air cleaner. I will update with pics soon I have just been busy with a new job so I havent had the time to take any, maby I will on Thurs but don't hold me too it. If I do take pics I think I will take it out to that road where I took the 86 and take some pics there.

Well I got some wheels, I got lucky in the junkyard, they are factory Pontiac wheels. They are off of a Sunfire GT the 3 spoke 16x7.5 alloy wheels and they have brand new performance tires on them, so they will do for now, the only thing thats wrong is that there are no centercaps. So its going well I hope to have the tranny rebuilt by the end of the month. I need to find a nice driver seat, replace some blown bulbs, replace the struts, and get some performance lowering springs.I still need a driver fender, I think I may put in yellow high-beams for a euro look but I don't know what do you guys think?. I will post pics tomorrow.

Well I have gone over my Grand Am (witch is my white car in the pics for those who don't know) and it does need some TLC but overall it does not need much. I need to rebuild the tranny, put in new C.V. axles, new shocks and struts, driver side fender, some little odds and ends, a new paint job, and some performance mods, but I need to get the car right before the performance stuff. The other thing is wheels, I want to put some new wheels on it but don't know what kind maby like 16's or 17's, does anyone have any suggestions? nothing bling-bling that crap makes me sick. Its a 5/100 bolt pattern. So now I am getting excited, I am 23 years old and have had the car since I was 13 it was my first car and she has been really good to me. So I can't wait to get started on it 10 years is a long time to have the same car and not get tired of it lol. Pics coming soon. So what does everyone think?.
